We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Geoff Ball as non-executive director.
Ball has joined the Somerset-based Group to develop opportunities in new areas of property claims handling. In 2014 he stepped down from the executive board at Cunningham Lindsey after 22 years with the company. He was building claims services director at the global loss adjuster, and previously managing director of their contractor network subsidiary, Oriel Services Limited.
Ball commented: “I’m delighted to be working with Claims Consortium Group where I hope my knowledge of the professional side of building claims and reinstatement will add weight to their product development.
“The Group has an excellent management team and a focus on improving the end customer experience, which I believe sets them apart from their competitors.”
Jeremy Hyams, CEO at Claims Consortium Group, said the appointment would add further authority to the company’s growth plans. He said: “Very few people know as much about the buildings and insurance sector as Geoff.
“He is renowned and highly respected in our industry for his technical knowledge on perils such as subsidence, and he will be a source of both knowledge and motivation for our buildings claims teams.”
Claims Consortium has extended its support of Taunton charity Stand Against Violence (SAV) for the fifth year running.
Claims Consortium Group embraced the Christmas spirit at a Charity Day on Friday 21 December, raising £4,200 in a joint fundraising effort for charity.
