Greg Gladwell has joined the board of Claims Consortium Group as Non-executive Director.

Gladwell is former UK and Ireland Chief Executive at loss adjuster Crawford & Company, where he had profit and loss accountability and was responsible for changing the business mix to higher value and higher margin products, with a focus on mid-sized, large loss and complex claims. Gladwell also held the position of Operations Director at Aviva, where he was accountable for 1,250 staff across seven locations globally, handling 750,000 claims per annum.

With more than 30 years working within the insurance sector, and specifically the complex and major claims market, he brings top-level operational experience to the senior management team at Claims Consortium.

Gladwell commented: “The entire claims sector is going through a rapid transformational change with technology at its heart. Claims Consortium is already playing a pivotal role and plans to extend this further in the months ahead.  I am excited about using my industry experience to help the company reach its full potential and have been attracted to it by both the ambition of the board and their mission to place the customer experience at the centre of the claims process.”

Claims Consortium CEO, Jeremy Hyams, said: “It is an exciting time for us at Claims Consortium, with a number of significant business wins and high-profile awards. Greg’s experience adds further top-level operational expertise to our team. His experience in overseeing governance requirements and leading change programmes within growing businesses will be of real value to us as we continue on our path of rapid growth.”
