Hot on the heels of a host of shortlisted award nominations, Claims Consortium Group has once again grabbed industry attention with the news of its nomination in the ‘Best use of Technology’ category in the Claims Innovation Awards.

Key to these nominations is the success of the Group’s new software platform Synergy that brings all parties involved in a claim together in an online environment. Designed to make the experience of the insurer’s policyholder exceptional, the technology has transformed the approach in which key industry industry players communicate during the claims handling process.

Jamie Wilkin, Strategy Director at the Group, said: “While we are celebrating the impact Synergy is having within the industry, the software has contributed to our growth due to its implementation within our own operations. We have recorded a rise in the number of claims handled alongside an increase in the speed of service. Customer satisfaction has grown while our company fixed costs have reduced due to the fall in reliance on traditional forms of communication such as phone and post.”

Jeremy Hyams, CEO, Claims Consortium Group states: “This award nomination underlines how Synergy has helped us cement client relationships, attract new business, and make suppliers and our team more efficient. But the key for me is our values; Synergy is helping to make the customer’s experience exceptional and driving up standards in the insurance industry. This is being recognised through these nominations.”

Winners of the Claims Innovation Awards will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 9 June at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.
