Group wins ‘Business of the Year’ and ‘Service Excellence’ awards

Claims Consortium Group has been announced as a double winner at the Somerset Business Awards 2015.

The 11th annual awards, organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce, received a record number of entries which culminated in a black tie dinner in Taunton on 23 October.

The Service Excellence Award was presented to Claims Consortium Group, for “its outstanding commitment to delivering great service and consistently going above and beyond the call of duty”.

Our MD Matt Brady and Director of People and Culture Debbie Mawer collected the award, saying: “We are so proud to have won an award for service in a world of social media where one bad review can result in you losing business. We have spent a lot of time getting our ethos and philosophy right so we can deliver our customers the service they deserve.”

One of the most prestigious awards of the night was Business of The Year 51+ employees, also awarded to Claims Consortium Group. Focusing on the bigger businesses in Somerset, the award “celebrates those businesses who deliver outstanding results on a larger scale, whilst ensuring solid business processes are maintained.”

Accepting the award, Matt Brady commented: “It has been so important for us to invest in the building blocks of the company to secure the future of our business. I remember this business when it operated out of a living room, and now we are leading in our industry.”

Notably Claims Consortium Group was also a finalist in the Skills For Growth award, and member of our HR team, Becky Read, was a finalist in the Young Employee of the Year Award.
