Claims Consortium Group director joins Society of Claims Professionals Advisory Board

Claire Lashbrook, Director of Operations and Third Party Administration at Claims Consortium Group, has joined the Advisory Board of the Society of Claims Professionals.

The Society of Claims Professionals is the professional body, within the Chartered Insurance Institute, dedicated to those working in the claims sector.

Claire is Director of Operations and Third Party Administration at Claims Consortium Group overseeing all claim operations including validations, repairs and out of hours.

She began her career with Claims Consortium Group in 2011 as a claims handler, then progressed on to service manager and operations manager before being appointed Operations Director in 2020.

As an expert in household claims and customer service, Claire is an advocate for service excellence and process innovation.

Since joining the profession in 2011 she has been instrumental in challenging the status quo and driving positive changes in claim operations.

Claire is currently President of the Exeter CII, having previously been the first Careers Officer for the Institute. She is also a passionate supporter of Insurance United Against Dementia and delivers Dementia Friends awareness courses as well as raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Claire said of her new appointment: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the Society of Claims Professionals advisory board and look forward to getting involved with the fantastic work the society does advising members, raising professional standards and building consumer trust in the sector. It is a real honour to be working alongside some of the most talented individuals in our profession.”
