Finance Assistant

Job Location



Role Description:

To process Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger invoices and other Finance administrative tasks.

Salary: £18,000-£20,000 DOE

Location: Initially homeworking, with the view to return to the office on East Reach Street, Taunton

Key Accountabilities:

  • Processing supplier and client invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve invoice queries
  • Liaise with other internal departments regarding queries
  • Entering invoice data onto the Finance system
  • Generate and process supplier payment runs
  • Paying in – Cheques/Bacs/Credit Cards
  • Daily, weekly and monthly bordereaux submissions to clients
  • Managing Compensation and refund payments
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Other duties in addition to key tasks which are within your skills and capability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Purchase/Sales Ledger
  • General accountancy experience

  • Ability to undertake challenges and handle pressurised situations
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Pro-active team player and self-motivator
  • Positive mental attitude, flexibility and willingness to learn
