Taunton Deane MP Rebecca Pow has officially opened [Sept 19] our new Taunton town centre offices.

We have taken on the building in East Reach, Taunton, to facilitate the rapid expansion of the business. Nightingale House is a stylish Victorian building close to the town centre and formerly a nursing institute. The building provides 9000 sq ft of office space and accommodates 70 employees.

Rebecca Pow MP said: “This is great news for Taunton, not only through making an historic building fit for the modern age but also in terms of bringing a welcome boost for the town centre. Claims Consortium is a role model for success in the region having been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard and been included in the top 1000 Companies to Inspire Europe list.

“They also have a commendable track record in supporting their staff with mild learning difficulties and I hope to be able to share their insights with the wider business community. I will certainly spread the good news and am delighted that companies like Claims Consortium are choosing to conduct their business in Taunton Deane.”

Group CEO Jeremy Hyams, said: “We’re delighted with our new building which gives us the scope to continue our growth in Taunton Deane. We have plans for further expansion in East Reach, and ambitious goals in the insurance sector which will create new employment opportunities. We already have more than 150 staff who live in Taunton, and they’re the lifeblood for our business and contribute to our success.”
