15th December 2014

Property Consortium Group has enhanced its motor third party property damage service with the development of a new specialist division led by new recruit, Stuart Markham.

While motor-related insurance claims handling is not new to the Group, Stuart brings expertise in post-repair work for Highways and Crown Property.

Alec Tarrant, Group Commercial Director, Property Consortium Group, said: “We’ve ambitious plans for our motor division and hope to announce additional major contract wins very soon.

“Stuart Markham is the ideal candidate to lead our growth in this sector, bringing to the Group over 12 years’ insurance experience and a highly specialised motor background. As well as our in-house team expansions we’re strengthening our supplier network with the appointment of skilled highways engineers.”

Stuart said: “I see great potential to grow our motor proposition in both pre- and post-repair works. Property Consortium Group’s reputation for innovation and customer-centric strategies will offer an approach to this specialist sector not seen before. I’m looking forward to developing our offering further by recruiting an expert team in the coming weeks.”

Stuart has been appointed as Sales & Operations Manager – Motor. Based in Northampton, his role will combine operational and client-facing responsibilities.

Stuart joins from SSL Claims Ltd., where he was Operations Manager with cross-divisional responsibility for claims operations and central services. Prior to this, Stuart spent nine years at Crawford & Company Loss Adjusters.
