Claims Consortium Group achieves Carbon Neutral status for another year

14th May 2025

At Claims Consortium Group, we are proud to announce that we have maintained our carbon neutral status, offsetting 142.91 tonnes of CO₂e emissions from our business operations throughout 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability in the insurance and claims management sector, we have worked with Carbon Neutral Britain to calculate, verify, and offset our carbon footprint. This includes emissions from energy use, travel, and all operational activity.

Through Carbon Neutral Britain’s Climate Fund™ Portfolio, we have invested in certified carbon offsetting projects around the world. These projects not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions but also support biodiversity, reforestation, and sustainable development in local communities.

What Does Carbon Neutral Mean?

According to Carbon Neutral Britain:

“Carbon neutrality is achieved by calculating a carbon footprint and reducing it to zero through a combination of in-house efficiency measures and supporting external emission reduction projects.”

This means that for every tonne of CO₂ we emit, we fund projects that remove or prevent the same amount of carbon from being released elsewhere — achieving a net-zero carbon impact.

Why It Matters

As a responsible business in the insurance industry, we know that the long-term health of our sector is linked to the health of our planet. From climate-related claims to operational resilience, the impacts of environmental change are clear. That’s why we’re committed to driving sustainable practices in every area of our work.

Being carbon neutral is one step — and we will continue to reduce emissions, invest in smart solutions, and support our clients and partners in meeting their own sustainability goals.
