Expansion secures landmark offices

The Group has acquired the leasehold for additional offices in the centre of Taunton to facilitate the rapid expansion of the business. The company already employs more than 250 people at its headquarters in Culmhead, and historic Nightingale House – a stylish Victorian building close to the town centre and formerly a nursing institute – will provide 9000 sq ft of office space to initially accommodate 70 of the Group’s employees.

We have experienced phenomenal growth in the last year, fuelling a consistent recruitment drive with over 80% of our employees sourced from the county.

Group CEO Jeremy Hyams, stated: “The new premises provide the ideal solution to our requirement; beautiful offices in a central position with the potential to house more employees when necessary.

“We are in the business of insurance and the Group needs to be prepared to deal with a sudden increase in business due to surge events caused by extreme weather, and the additional space will serve to meet such contingency needs.”
