Claims Consortium Group supports charities at Christmas
21st December 2015
Three charities stand to benefit in sharing the funds raised by staff at Claims Consortium Group.
Stand Against Violence and Taunton Homeless were joined this year by Musgrove Hospital, as staff pulled out all the stops in a fun day of raffles, pin the red nose on Rudolf games, Christmas jumpers and sales of delicious home-made cakes and bacon rolls. Company Managers and Directors also joined in – bravely auctioning their services to staff. These included a pub meal with a Director, kick boxing classes and being waited on by your Manager at lunchtime. All this raised £2,319.57, which was then matched by Claims Consortium Group, making a fantastic total of £4,639.14, over double last year’s amount.
Jeremy Hyams explained that a big part of how Claims Consortium Group work is to empower its staff in using their initiative and take action to give outstanding customer service. He said, “This really came out as our staff have shown how their energy, creativity and enthusiasm can generate success. I am delighted that everyone got involved to raise this amazing amount of money and to make this Christmas fundraising day end the year with a bang!’
Debbie Mawer, Director of People and Culture, said: “I’m very happy to see this fantastic achievement by staff and extremely grateful for the generous donations of raffle prizes from our suppliers. We are all very pleased to continue our support for the much needed work carried out by all three charities.”
Adam Fouracre, the CEO for Stand Against Violence thanked all the staff at Claims Consortium for their generosity, ‘These guys are amazing! I hope they had good fun doing the fundraising.’
“That is fantastic news!” said Rosie Hather, Fundraising and Communications Officer, from Taunton Association for the Homeless. She continued: “Thank you so much to all and for choosing TAH as one of your benefitting charities. Claims Consortium Group staff have done an amazing job raising this much for charity and as always have been very generous to match it!”
