Jeremy Hyams to resume CEO role as Matt Brady steps down after 19 years

Claims Consortium Group (CCG) today announces that Matt Brady will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer on 27 March, after 19 years with the business.

Matt joined CCG in 2007 and has served as CEO for the past five years. During his tenure he oversaw significant strategic growth, helped expand and diversify the claims business, and led a number of acquisitions, including that of WeatherNet. Under his leadership, CCG has strengthened its position as a trusted partner to insurers and businesses across the UK. Matt will be pursuing new opportunities outside the Group but will first be taking time out with his family.

Founder Jeremy Hyams will be resuming the CEO role directly. Jeremy founded CCG 30 years ago and served as its first CEO before appointing Matt to the role in 2022. He has remained closely involved in the strategic direction of the business throughout its growth.

Matt Brady said:

“It has been a privilege to lead CCG over the past five years. I leave with enormous pride in what we have achieved together and look forward to seeing the business go from strength to strength with a talented team and clear direction.”

Jeremy Hyams added:

“Matt has made an enormous contribution to CCG over nearly two decades and we are grateful for everything he has brought to the business. I wish him well in whatever comes next.

“I have always maintained a close hands-on involvement in the Group, and I am looking forward to resuming this role. It is an exciting time for CCG and I am focused on continuing to build on the strong foundations we have in place through our claims services, WeatherNet, and Synergy Cloud software.”
