Claims Consortium Group has been awarded the internationally applied British Standard OHSAS 18001 for its outstanding commitment to health and safety.
The standard is widely regarded as the highest award for great health and safety management, and is recognised by organisations worldwide.
James Liepa, Group Health and Safety Manager at Claims Consortium, said: “The health and safety of both our staff and our wider network of suppliers is incredibly important to us, and we are constantly improving our performance in this area.
“To be awarded the OHSAS 18001 is acknowledgment that our policies and procedures are performing well, and I’m very proud of everyone who has worked hard to achieve this award.”
Claims Consortium has also recently achieved Gold standard for The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for the second year running. The RoSPA award demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record, and it held in high regard around the world.
Claims Consortium’s Professional Services Director, Nick Turner, added: “Much of our work handling insurance claims involves building suppliers working within our customer’s homes, so we are constantly striving to go above and beyond requirements to ensure the health and safety of all parties.
“Being awarded both the OHSAS 18001 and RoSPA Gold standard highlights the importance we place on the welfare of our staff, suppliers and customers, and is an excellent achievement for everyone involved.”
