Property Consortium partners with Taunton charity to tackle youth violence
31st October 2014
Property Consortium Group is pleased to announce that it has become the main sponsor of Somerset charity Stand Against Violence (SAV).
SAV works with young people across the South West to prevent youth violence.
Property Consortium Group will fund a series of SAV events, including youth workshops and school assemblies, as well as providing marketing, strategy and planning assistance where appropriate.
Jeremy Hyams, CEO of Property Consortium Group, said: “Stand Against Violence is a genuinely inspiring charity that is transforming young lives in the South West. All of us at Property Consortium are very excited to be supporting SAV and making a real difference to our local community.”
In recent years Property Consortium Group has participated in fundraisers for SAV, the latest being a staff charity event in August this year which boosted total donations to more than £8,000. The new sponsorship agreement will take this support to the next level by providing strategic funding to support SAV’s activities in the region.
Adam Fouracre, CEO and founder of SAV, welcomed the sponsorship deal: “This sponsorship gives Stand Against Violence a stable foundation for continuing our work in reducing youth violence by empowering young people to defuse potentially violent situations. We look forward to working further with Property Consortium and thank them for their support.”
Mr Hyams will join the board of Stand Against Violence as a non-executive director, where he hopes to use his business experience to support the sustainable growth of the charity.
